  1. Font and Size:
    • Font: Times New Roman, Arial, or Calibri.
    • Size: 12-point font.
    • Consistent font throughout the essay.
  1. Margins and Alignment:
    • 1-inch margins on all sides (top, bottom, left, right)
    • Alignment: Justified
  1. Title Page:
    • Title centred in the middle of the page
    • Include your name, ID number, and course information (code, name, instructor)
  1. Heading and Subheadings:
    • Clear hierarchy with appropriate headings (Heading 1, Heading 2, etc.).
    • Consistent formatting for each level of heading (bold, italics, etc.).
  1. Line Spacing:
    • Double spacing throughout the essay (including block quotes, references, and bibliography).
    • Single spacing permissible for tables, footnotes, and captions.
  1. Paragraphs:
    • Indent the first line of each paragraph.
    • Maintain consistent paragraph structure and spacing.
